Britax B Ready Review
In this Britax B Ready Review, we will delve deeper into the features, configurations, and of course the good, the bad and the ugly of this product.

Britax B Ready is a double tandem stroller manufactured by Britax with the intention of solving the most common faced problems in the stroller market, which are:
- The inability to modify the orientation of the infant seat,
- The needs of various reclining positions,
- The needs of inline double stroller with not too long wheelbase so it can be handled easily within the crowd.
Britax B Ready
Let’s see how this unit deal with those problems in the following Britax B Ready review:
1. One of the main features of Britax B Ready is the 14 different configurations that you can choose according to your needs. So, whether you need a stroller with rear facing position or forward facing position or even a bassinet, this baby stroller will keep you satisfied.
Here is the picture that shows you the complete variation of this stroller (it’s easy to alter your baby stroller from one configuration to another):
2. Britax B Ready comes with three reclining positions to keep your little ones in the comfortable position. I once have
a friend who complaints a lot about the way her stroller designed which cause her baby to get awaken during the ride.
She just love the fact that the reclining positions in this unit is designed to keep her baby comfortable and stay asleep during the smooth ride.
There are three different reclining positions in the main seat and is reversible. On good point noted here is that the mechanics for turning the seat work very smoothly.
3. Let’s face it, most in-line double stroller are difficult to handle within the crowd. The longer wheelbase is, perhaps, one of the main reasons behind this condition. Being an in-line double stroller itself, Britax B Ready is quite different. Although it’s indeed heavier that ordinary baby stroller, thanks to the shorter wheelbase, you can easily handle it within the crowd. It also comes with the adjustable handle bar and comfort grips to help you drive it better and easier.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly:
PROS
- It has 14 different configurations which you can choose from
- It folds, even with the second seat attached
- No re-thread needed. The 5-point harness and head pad are super easy to adjust
- Spacious under seat storage which is smartly designed to allow easy access from all sides
- Suitable for kids up to 55lbs
- Large canopy with ventilation window and sun-visor
- Toddler seat accommodates a child up to 55lbs, which is 10lbs more than the Baby Jogger City Select.
CONS
- Just like other double stroller, this unit is heavier than a single stroller. However, it’s still lighter than ordinary in-line double stroller
- Longer wheelbase than a single stroller, but again, is shorter than other double tandem stroller
- Quite pricey. Nonetheless, if you’re looking for a high quality product, you’ll get the best value from your spent money. In the long run, since you can use it as both single and double stroller, it may very well saves you some money from buying the second stroller for your second (and later) babies.
Who should use this product?
- Parents with twin kids – you will absolutely
- Parents with more than a single kid in their houses
- Parents with a single kid who wished for more versatility in configuring the stroller
If you are among those people, it’s a good idea to get yourself this product. On the other hand, it also makes a great gift for your relatives who need a stroller.

Britax B Ready Stroller
Here are some of Britax B Ready review from the customers who have bought and tried this stroller. The reviews have been re-phrased, without altering the points taken for uniqueness and ethical reason. “An almost perfect double” (by Kerri Calder):
I have tried 11 single and 3 double strollers. By far, in my opinion, this model is simply the best. However, nothing is perfect including this unit and I will describe it later in this review.
I am really fond of:
- The sun shade which cover both the main seat and the second seat.
- The fully reclining seats
- The spacious storage for tons of shopping bags
I’m not really fond of:
- The small front wheels. I wish that Britax would make bigger wheels for rougher, bumpier terrain. Nonetheless, it’s only a minor point to be taken into consideration.
- The straps. Maybe it’s only me, but I found fitting the traps is not as easy as I thought it will be.
“Uppababy Vista Vs. Britax B-Ready” (by S. Ng)
In comparison between Britax B Ready and Vista, I will compare several things like
- Wheels (Vista has slightly better wheels)
- Handle (B Ready is surely easier to handle)
- Main seat (Vista barely wins)
- Second seat (B Ready wins)
- Configurations (with 14 different configurations, it’s a definite winning for B Ready)
- Storage (B Ready has more spacious storage size)
I ended up buying Britax B Ready and have used it for 6 weeks. I’m actually grateful that I did that. It’s been a great choice and we (my baby and I) have comfortable ride so far. I can wholeheartedly recommend Britax B Ready to other parents who need a baby stroller.
